Autumn update/ Halloween and Bonfire night

November 6, 2017

It's been a while since I logged on and gave a weekend blog post, I'm blaming the dark nights?!

So, how's everyone? It's November already! I do love this month with cosy fires, Strictly on the TV, candles, long autumn walks and changing leaves. I have been sharing a lot of instastories lately, they do disappear after 24 hours though so check in on instagram for regular updates.

So, what have we been up to? Well, indoors we've finally finished all our decorating and makeovers upstairs. Robs study has had a makeover and we've gone for Farrow and Ball's Hague Blue- it looks fab! Guest bedroom has undergone a tropical vintage vibe, and finally our bedroom is now a relaxing vintage boho space...just a bit of faffing, a few final touches and we will be there {full post on our makeover to come soon, see a few pics below}

And outdoors, we've been to Harry Potter World in London, it's abosultey fantastic- do give it a go if you're a Harry fan like me. I've also started back at Yoga. I've really missed it, more to come on that soon.

This weekend we visited my brother and his girlfriend over in Albrighton. Callum is an architect and has recently gone solo as Atelier House Architects and Interiors Studio he is Midlands based but has worked on projects all over the UK. Do check his website out and get in contact if you're after anything in particular.

Love this time of year.

Getting our hygge on, did you see my Halloween essentials post?

Rearranged our kitchen dresser, we have so much glass wear!

Cosy Toby lying by the first log fire of the year.

We've seen the first frost this year. Our dahlias are still going strong although I must dig them out to over winter them. I don't want to loose them!

I also need to crack on with more spring planting this week. Have you planted yours yet? We have alliums, tulips, snowdrops and bluebells going in for next spring.

Hope you have a lovely week and stay wrapped up!
