We always take a break pre-Christmas and this year we chose to go down to London. We both love this city and its definitely my favourite at this time of year. It's full of Christmas cheer!

The houses around Chelsea and South Kensington go all out with really beautiful wreaths. The bright blue skies made the day very picturesque and a pleasure to walk around.
You can't beat London at Christmas for all the beautiful, inspiring decorations around the city.

We visited one of our favorite shopping streets, Sloane Square and the Kings Road in Chelsea.
We tend to steer clear of Oxford Street, just far to many tourists for us. We then got the tube and moved on to Somerset House, Fortumn & Mason and then to Regent Street and Carnaby Street.
Photos below if you’d like to see.

{Somerset House, features on one of my favourite Christmas films Love Actually at the very beginning} The famous Fortnum tree, so pretty!

Regent street, walking with the angels...

The Carnaby Street Christmas Festival was dressed superbly! Carnaby was new for us this year, fantastic independent sellers and some larger brands too. Carnaby Street is the go-to place for London foodies, naturally we had to visit!
We had amazing pizza at Pizza Pilgrims in Kingly Court. They have loads of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from all surrounded by the most beautiful, fairy light lit courtyard.

We had a really lovely date day with my favourite guy in the world and left feeling all festive and ready to start Christmas together at home.
Merry Christmas to you and your King!
