It's been a while since I logged on and wrote a weekend blog post, but now the clocks have gone back and we're home until Christmas, it feels like we're back in a proper routine again.
So how are you? It's November! That gorgeous transitional month full of autumn leaves and cosy evenings before the Christmas madness!
It's never to soon to think about Christmas! Things have already started creeping in and I couldn’t resist squirrelling away some bits (well doesn’t everything sell out so fast every year?).
We always have an advent calendar each and this year Rob has a Cadbury one and as a tea-lover, I have opted to count down to Christmas with a different flavour brew everyday. 24 Days of Tea Advent Calendar, from The Tea Company £7 from my local Co-op. So cool! #triedandtasted
We’ve already had a few cosy evenings in, the log burner has been fired up and candles lit. We're planning on a cheese and wine night in front of the telly this weekend, I cannot wait!
What we've watched; The Bake Off final, I love the new bake off, but wasn’t the final a bit of a let down? I still miss Mary but the new format is definitely a lot more fun. Celebrity Hunted for Stand up to Cancer has been fab, love Chris and Kem! Strictly has been really good too this year. Of course, my fave Made in Chelsea is back, I need a new series to get into!
This is amazing! Co-op Irresistible Clementine Jewelled Chocolate Honeycomb £2 we demolished this in one sitting!
#triedandtasted I’m thinking about buying some foodie gifts too such as mini gin and tonic sets (heart eyes these from my local Central England Co-op this year), homemade local fudge and cosy luxury hot chocolates. These would look really pretty in the kitchen over Christmas or make for great gifts.
These are my fave foodie gifts I’ve seen so far, Co-op artisan chocolates just look at how dreamy the packaging is, let alone the chocolates in the box it’s so so pretty!
What I've bought/been lusting over; I NEED the new iPhone X, I really love the camera and my current iPhone is so slow (Rob if you're reading, nudge nudge, wink wink!).
I bought these couple of festive knits in readiness for Christmas. These festive pj's, heart eyes and this jumper yes please.
The weekend ahead; it's bonfire night and I'm excited for wrapping up to go and watch the fireworks at a display in the next village. We need to buy some sparklers! They're will be the usual walks around the village, everything is starting to look so wintery out there.
We're out on a date day today before seeing my girls this evening and then a roast on Sunday with family.
Hope you have something lovely planned.
